Joe Osterbauer was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School, St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and received his law degree in 1990 from the William Mitchell College of Law. While going to law school, Mr. Osterbauer clerked at the Cody Law Firm in St. Paul. Upon graduation, Mr. Osterbauer worked with the Taylor Law Firm in Minneapolis for a year and a half.

He then founded the Osterbauer Law Firm in the summer of 1992. Mr. Osterbauer is recognized as one of the top attorneys in MN and practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury.

Christina Kath

Christina Kath has been an attorney with Osterbauer Law Firm since 2003, representing injured victims in resolving their claims. She has worked exclusively in the area of personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, slip/trip and falls, wrongful death, and other negligence claims. Over the years, Christina has logged many hours in the courtroom, taking cases through jury and court trials, as well as the appellate process. She has also arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases.

Christina graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2000 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Management. She attended William Mitchell College of Law and received her J.D. in 2003, graduating cum laude. Christina is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and the United States District Court, Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Outside of her practice, Christina coached the Hamline University School of Law mock trial team during the 2008-2009 school year. She is also involved in mentoring paralegal students and law students.

Amanda Furth

Amanda Furth has represented people with workers’ compensation and other personal injuries since 2003. She enjoys helping clients move forward to find the best medical care to help them recover and rehabilitation services to help them get back to work.

Amanda graduated from St. Olaf College in 2000 Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science and Hispanic Studies. She then moved on to law school at Hamline University School of Law, graduating in 2003. While in law school, she joined Osterbauer Law Firm as a law clerk and began to learn the personal injury and workers’ compensation fields. Amanda has been admitted to practice law in Minnesota since 2003. She was named a Rising Star attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, recognizing her as a top workers’ compensation attorney in the state of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association, as well as the Amdahl Inn of Court.

Originally from New Ulm, MN, Amanda enjoys baseball, festivals and German food. She is an avid sports fan who attends many Twins, Timberwolves, and Gophers games. She serves on the board of the Harold Mezile North Community YMCA Youth & Teen Enrichment Center in North Minneapolis and is active in the St. Olaf College Alumni groups.

Benjamin J. Harper

Ben joined Osterbauer Law Firm in January of 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Ben spent several years working exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation litigation. Ben is a proven trial attorney who has represented hundreds of injured workers and secured tens of millions of dollars of their behalf. Ben has been named a Super Lawyers – Rising Star for 2019-‘20 and 2020-’21.  This award recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state under the age of 40. Ben takes great pride in making his clients feel confident and well-represented at every stage of the litigation process.

Originally from Stillwater, MN, Ben graduated from St. John’s University in 2007 before moving on to William Mitchell College of Law, where he graduated with honors. During law school, Ben worked at a prominent Minneapolis law firm assisting injurer employees in securing workers’ compensation benefits. He also was a member of the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court, Ruby Vale Corporate Law Moot Court, and the William Mitchell National Negotiation Team. During law school, Ben also volunteered 200+ hours at the Urban League in North Minneapolis, where he prepared income taxes for impoverished individuals and families.

Ben is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
